All faculty should report by 2:35 p.m. to the Pavilion in the area behind the student
bleachers (South Stands).
Faculty will process into the main convocation area in the Pavilion at 2:40 p.m. sharp.
Marshals will be available to help organize the procession. Faculty will process
in by college led by the respective college dean.
At the end of the convocation there will be a University parade for all members of the
community. Faculty are asked to march in the parade in academic robes, immediately
following Father Dobbin and the stage party. The parade will proceed from the Pavilion to
Austin field where a festival and meal has been planned for everyone.
Faculty who have rented gowns can pick them up at the office of the Vice President for
Academic Affairs, Room 103 Tolentine Hall on September 7th or 8th.
Rented attire must be returned to 103 Tolentine Hall by September 13th.
